I recently had a crazy contemplation where I was stunned to realize that I didn’t now my blood type.
I was reading about how certain blood types are specific to parts of the world. As I had just recently learned specifically where my grandfather, on my mom’s side, was from in Czechoslovakia.
Anyways….
I had gone for most of my life not knowing my blood type. Do you know yours?
When I asked my Mom, she didn’t know mine. Which was a whole moment cause she remembered my Dad’s. Which gave me another thing to look up, hehe.
Ends up, there’s a super easy blood test you can get online. So, I did. I got a blood test. I even filmed it, I’ll post it some time. I loved that I didn’t have to go to a doctor to get this answered. Clutch.
It was easy to use and fascinating to watch the test happen in front of my eyes. I felt like I was a kid in science class again 😀
And the irony. I’m B+. A “be positive”. A trait of mine that is not a favorite of most in my life, I have found. Being positive sometimes seems to be a vicious act cause “how could you be happy?”, and I get it. I’ve been through so much trauma that I have looped back around to undying devotion to love and kindness, and that shit can be annoying if you’re not in a place of receiving.
We can get to more of that later.
However…
Did you know that your blood type determines sooo much about our health? Like…foods that are better for us…environments that are better for us…lifestyles that are better for us…exercise that is better for us…and it got me thinking.
Maybe I’ve been overweight my whole life because I’m trying to fit by lifestyle into a mold which is really just lack of awareness about holistic health, whole health.
I mean, when I looked up this stuff, alllll of the food that I’ve been eating cause “the doctors say it is ‘good for me'” was actually bad for my blood type.
The thing that caught me was this…your blood type determines the gut bacteria that will thrive and work best with your body, the flora and fauna of it all. Gut bacteria is determined by the food you take in and certain foods actually agitate and instigate inflammation due to irritation in the gut.
So you eat food that isn’t good for your blood type and you’re creating chaos in your gut. There’s a war in my gut, they’re not being friendly in there.
Like whoa, like, that’s an important detail to me.
And so I ran an experiment.
I got groceries based on the food recommendations that are in multiple sources, online and books, from different doctors and specialists in blood type lifestyles. In my 5/1 form, I like multiple sources and viewpoints, and I definitely found them.
Things I’d been eating that are not good for my gut were plentiful, and unfortunately were a lot of my favorite foods that I share with my family at celebrations and social get togethers.
Tomatoes, avocados, corn, black beans, most beans, black pepper, cinnamon, coffee, chicken, pork, olives, turkey, all shellfish, coconuts, wheat, pomegranate, all nightshades, most nuts, most oils…just like whoa. Thankfully, rice and olive oil held on!
So, most commercially used ingredients are actually killing my gut. And I’ve been eating them for years.
Random fact: Beef is neutral to all blood types. Take that how you may.
Food that is nourishing for me, my gut will welcome them with open arms, and they will work together in community and harmony for the whole of the body: deep green greens, like all the greens, beets, cabbage, bison, dairy, potatoes, rice, berries, eggs from hens, venison, goat, lamb, rabbit, most fruits. Basically my blood type is meant for a nomadic lifestyle, “The Nomad”, things my caravan would have gathered and hunted along our routes of migration and seasons.
PS, it’s way more detailed, I’ll be sharing more as I continue to dive in.
Anyways, today has been about 14 days of actively adding more of these foods, specifically venison and more greens, and I’ve lost 12 lbs. Just like that. And I’m cooking with ghee.
Also, my digestion has been on point. My gut is cleaning…itself…out, I’ll let you expand however you would like on that one 😉
So the experiment continues, but I had to share the results cause it works for me. And it’s such interesting science and the logic is there. I mean, some blood types can give to everyone and some can only receive exactly their blood type, and some are mixed, it’s fascinating. So much more to learn and contemplate.
Could blood type be a key to health that has been long overlooked? Cause it isn’t just the food, it’s everything we digest. It is not lost on me that my Incarnation Cross has a wandering storyteller frequency in it. So huh, I’m so curious.
Examination was deep and is ongoing.
Experiment is currently running.
Experience is being shared here.
Expression is in the weight loss.
I’m curious to continue this experiment and will continue to share my experiences. Hope this sparked some thought for you.
Be well and remember…you are la victoria cosmica.
